A Child Is A Gift

A couple of months ago while wondering around my LSS, I saw a display of this incredible layout. I asked about it and Melissa, the owner said it was from a class they did last August, and that they still had all the papers cut for one more if I was interested in buying it. I sure was!! I knew these pictures of Kadence and Brittany at the Wool Festival last year would be great on them. Fast forward to later in that same week, when I dump out all of my pieces and discover that GASP! The entire right side is missing! OH MY! So call Melissa, make a trip back to store and wait while she patiently cuts out the entire right side for me because I want the layout so bad! Fast forward again to yesterday, when I finally had time to set down and piece it all together! I love how it came out and could not wait to share it with everyone. So, without further ado:

Visiting Brittany

On Saturday morning we decided to hit the road and visit Brittany and Kadence at their house in Ohio. We had a great visit! I was so impressed by how cute Brittany had her place decorated. Kadence kept us all entertained by putting on her ruby slippers and using her toy microphone to inform us all that "there's no place like home!"

Happy Birthday Brittany!

Today is Brittanys 20th birthday and I cannot believe it.
I know people say "it seems like yesterday" but it really does seem like yesterday that my first baby was born.
I was only 21 and so excited to meet my baby girl.
Even way back then she was stubborn, arriving 2 weeks late!
Brittany really is a lot like me.. Not afraid to say what is on her mind, sensitive behind the rough exterior, loves to laugh, and realizes that Jesus really does keep on loving us no matter what.
Today, we are true friends. There is nothing that we cannot talk about and share with each other and I feel so blessed that God has given Brittany to me.
Happy Birthday Brittany Nicole.. I love you!
PS Don't tell Megan but you've always been my favorite!
