Day 4--FINISHED!
We are both very pleased with the final results.
Here are a few shots from around the room. First the double doors that have been Hunter Green since we moved in. Now, they are painted October Red and they really stand out. We removed the vertical blinds and put these cute Americana curtains that I found in Georgetown at the "Country Peddler" shop. The little bears are part of a larger grouping from the former "Home Interiors & Gifts" company that you will see more of later.
Here are a couple shots of the cabinets I used. The first one is my favorite! Almost everytime we go to Shaker Village we buy one of the oval Shaker boxes that is made there in the village. I decided to use the bottom of the cabinet to store cookbooks and such.
Next one is a pickle cabinet that was locally made. I confiscated this one from Richard's room downstairs.

Last shot.. Taken from across the room
Thanks Richard for ALL of your painting and most of all your understanding of me and my constant re-organizing!

Lisa & Richard,
This turned out AWESOME!! What great teamwork you two have. It's beautiful!
Looks beautiful!! We need to paint our LR... Hopefully with Charlie having 3 day weekends for a while, we can get some stuff done. Sigh :)
What an adorable room. Love the transformation.
Yay, it's done! I bet it's a huge relief and it turned out so good!
Wow! Looks great. But you know me, since my favorite color is green, I'm partial to that color. Poor Richard, I bet he's exhausted (you, too, of course, lol)
