The Great Pumpkin Caper

I thought it would be so much fun to make Kadence a little pumpkin patch, so I picked up 3 tiny little miniature pumpkins at Walmart yesterday and "planted" them. Richard and I have no garden and no gardening skills which to speak of, so when I say "planted" I mean "something planted secretly for discovery by another" NOT to be confused with "to put in the ground and cover, as seed for growth" lol
When she woke up from her nap and discovered the "baby pump-pins" she was so excited to see they had grown there while we were shopping!

In her excitement, she "picked" this one to show me before I could stop her. But, don't worry, she put it back this morning so it could grow some more!

Here she is this morning right after she replanted it. You can see it there, right under the flag.

The plan, of course, is that all the pumpkins will continue to grow until one is big enough for a Jack-O-Lantern. I LOVE being a NaNa!
Have a great day,

Twitterpated Layout

The new Twitterpated paper is by far my favorite of the new paper packs. I just love the fun and festive outdoorsy patterns and all the colors that coordinate with it.
I saw the layout on the back of the package of stickease, the pattern is from the Cherish book and is called "Pleasing Paradigm"

I lovey these little animals and mushrooms!

Have a great Tuesday, and don't forget "The Biggest Loser" tonight!

Sweet Home Card

My friend Vickie will be hosting a gathering for me next Friday and here is one of the cards we will be making.

The idea came from the CTMH Consultant site and is the gathering project using the "Sweet Home" paper pack and one of the new stamp sets, "Welcome Home"
The little crocheted flower is also CTMH's White Daisy Mini Medley set.
I am planning to take the day off from preparing workshops, gatherings, and Christmas card workshops and just scrap for me.
Enjoy your weekend!

Another Christmas Card

As you can see, I am still plugging away with the Christmas Card a thon! LOL The inspiration for this one came from this blog: http://ilinacrouse.blogspot.com/ I love this gal's work, but wanted to make a similiar card using CTMH products. Here is what I came up with:

All products are from CTMH and include, the "Festive Frills" stamp set, White Daisy, Holiday Red and Clover Meadow Cardstock, and Sunkiss Yellow Ribbon. Here is a look at the inside:

Hope you like it.. Off to spend time with my creator.

Christmas Card

I have spent a lot of time lately trying to come up with some "wow" Christmas cards for workshops and for my own personal use. I got the idea for this one from a card on splitcoast, but made a few changes to suit me.

Although this one may be to costly and time consuming for workshops, I love it!
It reminds me of my little country church. All paper products are CTMH.. The church and trees are from the Cricut Solutions cartridge "Christmas Noel" I typed up the Christmas story from the Bible and changed the RGB values to make the ink desert sand and printed on bamboo cardstock.
A closer look, I put the trees on 3-D dots to make them pop (click to enlarge photos)

Well, I need to get caught up on some housework.
Blessings for a wonderful day!

Wedding Layout

Another page for my wedding album, the one that I really, really want to complete but am still not even half way done! Yes, that one.
All supplies are from CTMH.
The paper is from the "tickled pink" special CTMH had a couple months ago. I also used the "Key to my Heart" stamp set, crocheted flowers, the new sparkle brads, and pretty pins.

Have a great day!

Baby Card

I was just playing and came up with this baby card for my stash. I am not sure if it will ever get used because there is just something about it that I don't like, not sure what.
Off to Church..

Flapper!

One of Kadence's favorite things to do is play dress-up, in fact she usually wears her "high heels" most of the day. Yesterday I bought her a pair of these blingy dress up gloves and as I was watching TV last night, she came in debuting her newest selection from the "Roaring Twenties"

Kinda makes you wanna dance, huh?

Have a wonderful day!
